iCafe is the adaptive culinary program at Inclusive Arts Ohio, where participants gain hands-on experience in the kitchen while learning practical skills they can use every day. Students practice preparing meals, reading recipes, building healthy eating habits, and developing safe kitchen techniques in a supportive and encouraging environment. Learning extends beyond the kitchen as participants visit local restaurants to practice dining etiquette, ordering meals independently, and building confidence in real-world settings. These experiences help students strengthen communication, decision-making, and independent living skills while enjoying new foods and experiences. At iCafe, cooking is just the beginning. Every recipe, meal, and community outing is an opportunity to grow, connect, and become more independent.
