
Adaptive Vocal Performance Program
iSing is an adaptive vocal performance program for individuals with developmental disabilities who love music, singing, and performing. Through structured rehearsals and joyful collaboration, participants develop vocal skills, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
iSing is a creative extension of iDance and a powerful way for participants to express themselves through music and performance.
What Is iSing?
iSing is a group-based vocal performance program focused on building foundational singing skills while encouraging self-expression, teamwork, and stage presence.
Classes are designed to support a wide range of communication styles, learning needs, and comfort levels. Every voice is valued, and participants are encouraged to shine both individually and as part of a group.
What Participants Learn

How iSing Is Adapted
iSing rehearsals are intentionally flexible and inclusive. Adaptations may include:
- Modified vocal parts or ranges

- Opportunities for solo or group participation
- Support for sensory or communication needs
Participants are encouraged to participate in ways that feel comfortable and empowering.
Performances
Community performance is a meaningful part of the iSing experience.
Performance Opportunities Include:
- Seasonal community events
- Collaborative performances with iDance
- Featured appearances in the annual iDance Showcase
Performances give participants the opportunity to:
- Share their talents with an audience
- Build confidence and pride
- Practice teamwork and accountability
- Experience the joy of being celebrated
Participation in performances is encouraged but always optional.

iSing is open to:
- Individuals with developmental disabilities
- Participants who enjoy music and singing
- Those who want to build confidence and communication skills
- Currently enrolled iDance students
No prior singing experience is required.
Cost & Commitment
Program Cost
iSing is free for currently enrolled iDance students.
Program Support
Program costs are supported through fundraising efforts. Participants and their parent or caregiver are asked to commit to participating in fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
Attendance
Weekly rehearsal attendance is encouraged and helps ensure:
